Dr. Kim Gu-cheol graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kyungpook National University and completed two years of veterinary surgical training at the University of Tokyo. He later earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University, obtained Australian dental registration, and treated human patients in public hospitals, university clinics and private dental practices in Australia.
After returning to Korea, he headed the dental centre at Busan Animal Medical Center and served as dental director at Daegu Animal Medical Center. Since 2021, he has served as Dental Director at Doctors Animal Hospital in Cheonan. He has delivered veterinary dentistry seminars for practising veterinarians and launched vetschool, described as Asia's first veterinary dental education platform, in 2021.

During the procedure we bring you in to see the affected tooth for yourself. We look at the radiograph together and explain why this treatment is needed.
If it can be saved, we save it
We do not extract every fractured tooth. When root canal treatment and a crown can preserve the natural tooth, that is the option we consider first.
We do not treat without evidence
We never decide the extent of extraction without full-mouth dental radiography and a detailed oral examination. We radiograph again afterwards to confirm the result.
